Eleven Months

Think, think, think...



He didn't want to get out of the freezing water.


Adrian turned eleven months today! He had lots of fun today, we went to a national park called "La Estanzuela". It's a long hike up the mountain and when we got to the stream he was so excited he was throwing himself from my arms, I put him in only for a short while because the water was freezing.

One night we went to a little market to check some things out. I was caring Adrian and was looking at some cute wooden crayons when all of a sudden some shoe came flying from nowhere and hit Adrian on the back. It took him a little while to register and then...the scream! Poor guy I don't think it hurt so much because it was a flip flop, but he must of thought I hit him. It turned out that the flying shoe was of some careless kid just playing around. Adrian was fine he didn't get hurt.

On the 4th of July we traveled from Monterrey to Chicago it was a long trip but Adrian behaved pretty well. The only "terrible thing" that happened was that he peed his clothes, other than that he was a good boy and slept most of the way. This was the first time Adrian actually paid any attention while we were in the sky. It was so cute he looked outside and smiled, I don't know why but something must have made him happy...maybe memories of heaven, ha! He's gotten really clingy with me, he doesn't know everyone yet so he doesn't like to go with anybody. The kids(his cousins) are really good with him, he likes them. We have a nice back yard here which I;m really thankful for because Adrian needs to be outside for a while or he goes coo-coo in the house. I haven't been able to take many pictures of him but I promise to before he turns a year! Adrian now has 8 teeth, actually he's teething right now. Mel gave him a little hair cut before we left because his hair was getting too long, it looks really cute when I style it I'll take pictures soon.
