Wow! I haven't updated the blog in a while, sorry I really don't have an excuse. Well as you all know Adrian is now ten months old! He turned ten months on the 14th of this month, which was quite a while ago. So let me tell you a little of what he has been doing. He still loves going in the pool and their is a video on YouTube if you want to see him swim. He knows how to hold his breath under the water, so don't freak out. I have been giving him "swimming lessons" for months now, so he knows how to hold his breath. He says a few words, sometimes he'll say them really clear then other times it doesn't sound as clear. Words he says are: agua, mama, dada, tete(boobies/nurse). He says wawa when he wants water he can't really say agua yet. He also tries to imitate animal sounds, it's so funny because they all sound the same, he makes the same sound for all of them. When he sees a dog or we do our flashcards or he hears a dog barking he tries to make a same sound and gets all red. His dog bark sounds more like a lion growl,ha! He loves animals, like most babies, and he likes to watch this video on YouTube. It's really ugly and it's a computer reading the animal words, but he really likes it I don't know why. He also likes to do his baby quotes, if he sees the white folder I have them in he gets all fussy and won't stop till I do them. And if I put it away he'll get really angry, which brings me to another point, Adrian's temperament. Adrian needs anger management the poor thing he gets angry so fast, and loses his patience, it's funny to see that now in a baby but as they get older it's not so funny anymore.

Adrian is a smart baby he does things sometimes without me even having taught him. I never taught him to brush his hair, but I do brush his hair, so one day we had the kids playing around and their was a brush lying around. He picked it up and started "brushing" his hair, it was so cute because I never taught him that! He just learned from watching me do it for him or from watching me brush my own hair. He does that a lot now when he gets a hold of a hair brush, tries brushing his hair, he smiles as he does it.

Last night after I showered Adrian I sat him on the bed, I have this glass jar where I keep a bag of cornstarch to rub on his back on really hot nights. So I let him play with the jar, usually he just gets the lid and sucks on it, but this time he got the lid and all his own he tried putting it on the jar , he succeeded many times, I was surprised because I never taught him how to do that, I think he just saw how the lid is always on the jar so he figured he'd try putting it on. Adrian and Rodrigo are still addicted to "Baby Signing Time" their favorite show of all times. And he can sign the word "more", actually I always had to help him sign the word but one night we were having some pop-corn and I said "do you want more?" and all on his own he signed "more"! He knew I was going to be happy about it because he first smiled then signed, and of course he enjoyed my praise several times , I was so excited! So Adrian's first sign on his own was "more".

He does this funny little wiggle when he nurses, it's really funny. He never stays still when nursing, he moves around like a worm.

Almost 1 year old! Adrian will be 11 months tomorrow! I can't believe how fast this year has gone. Adrian is so active that I can't leave him alone anymore, he used to be okay when he was on the crib but now it's so dangerous. Just the other day I left him for a minute watching a video in his crib when I came back he was out of the crib and sitting on the diaper changer. He had climbed out of the crib and just sat there at the edge with a toy in his mouth watching the video. He had no idea that he was doing something dangerous. So now I never leave him alone in the crib. It's the same thing with the stairs, he loves to climb the stairs but I can't leave him alone for one minute. He climbs the stairs so fast almost as if he is trying to race. Adrian still loves taking baths, he cries when I take him out. I don't blame him it's the only time you feel fresh, it's been so hot lately. He likes to make animal sounds and actually knows a few like: Elephant, tiger, lion, horse (he does the clop clop sound) and dog. It's funny because he makes the same sound for the dog and tiger. He loves dogs! When he is done making all the sounds he knows he smiles and claps and we say "yay" he loves it! I'll try to film him doing it, it's really cute.
